| Fantasy images | | ‘the long nose’ | Although it’s fantasy, the images on this site do not fall in the general category of ‘Fantasy Art’, you won’t find fairies, goddesses or horror images. There are however some elements of science fiction and futuristic ideas, but more in the form of sculpture like objects in empty spaces, which could be on remote planets. ‘The long nose’ is an example, a mask with a very pronounced nose on a flat plane of a material resembling playing cards. It’s your own fantasy what you want to make of it. But an art critic once said about a painting; “Do not want to try to understand it, enjoy it or not”. | | | the black truck | aerial impression | | futuristic pyramids | The fantasy images and objects are generally the result of experiments. Sometimes we used new techniques and programs, sometimes new textures, it did not have to look 'real'. These three pyramids have also been inspired on the idea of a landscape on a strange far remote planet where for the outsider these well-known but further incomprehensible structures can be seen. | | bridge over | ‘Bridge over’, an almost ethereal structure and an old lantern over and in very calm and silent waters.
