Het project Plantage Doklaan
De plantage doklaan is een collectief project waarin samenwerken en samenleven centraal staan. Werken en wonen is niet strict gescheiden. Materiaal, kennis en ideeën worden voortdurend uitgewisseld en getoetst. Kunst is een belangrijk resultaat van deze uitwisseling maar dit staat niet los van het pand als ontmoetingsplaats. De betrokkenheid van de plantage-dokgroep is ook maatschappelijk en politiek georiënteerd. De ongeveer dertig mensen die zich bijna dagelijks door het pand bewegen hebben uiteenlopende leeftijd en achtergrond. Ze delen eigenzinnigheid en gevoel voor het collectieve. Ze stellen hun denkbeelden graag ter discussie maar lijden vooral aan een gebrek aan zitvlees. Dingen maken, mooie dingen maken! |
